So i finally beat the sequel to FFXII.  Jesus, what a long journey.  It was a blast though.  The only reason I've beaten it now, and not a year from now, is i decided to beat the game without getting 100% and just youtube the secret ending.  why?  because if you get 100%, all enemies in the final level at level 99.  and i was at 57 for all my guys.  It would have taken forever.  I did get about 97% completion, which is respectable.  not to mention, after seeing the secret ending, i'm glad i didn't work too hard for it.  Wasn't terribly eventful, but fun. so the entire game is like an RTS, but slightly different.  It is like if you mixed FFXII and starcraft, basically, and it makes for a fun as hell game.  it was sometimes a little repetitive, yet, just like in ffxii, the game would get a lot more challenging the moment you thought you had a handle on things, which kept it interesting.  the plot was nice, and it was just great to revisit all the places and characters from FFXII, which, obviously, is a better game than this and than most other RPGs i've ever played, yet this game compliments the original and helps to develop the main character more.  Oh, and Vaan is actually the main character of this game, unlike in the original.  Yet, of course, when i got the chance, I stopped using Vaan and pretty much exclusively used Basch as my melee character, since vaan sucks and Basch is just SO cool.

Anyways, now i don't have anything to do in my Anthropology class, so i need new recommendations for DS games to play.  I've decided that I don't really enjoy FFIII, the graphics may be updated but the gameplay is too old and there is not enough story or character development.  i'm almost considering pokemon, but considering they stopped being good after silver and gold, i'm reluctant.

any suggestions?
